Today for Art Every Day Month and Paint Party Friday, I made a video of a completed journal. I received this as a gift when I went to the Total Alignment Retreat in Sedona last year. Its not a big journal but I have been slowly adding to the pages all year. It was made with Fabriano paper so it was a dream to work in. Some of the work has been shown before but many of you won't have seen this. It also great to see it all together. I hope you enjoy.

Headed to Sedona

In the morning I will put those last few things in my car and head south. I am going to Connie Hozvicka's   Total Alignment - A Fearless Painting Retreat  in Sedona, Arizona.  Four days with 11 other women from all over the world. It should be fabulous.  To be able to head back to Sedona, the place I met my beloved Glitter Sisters is a big plus.  After the retreat I am heading to Phoenix to see Glitter Sister Gemma and my real sister Marianne. I will also get to see long time friend Nancy and my daughters college roommate Brenna.  Lots of people I know have settled in Phoenix. It should be lots of fun.  I'll be post on Facebook and Twitter but not sure I'll have the time to blog.  I'll catch up with all of you when I return.

I still will be a doing a little art stuff in November, mostly simple pages that will not take too much time. This page was made with an oil pastel background and a picture I took in Sedona a few years ago.  We stopped in this place where there were vortexes and these rock cairns were everywhere.  It was such an amazing thing to see.

Nanowrimo started yesterday, so we are off an running now.  I put a word widget in my sidebar that you can view to see my progress.
