Being a Business Goddess
Its always so interesting that the Universe brings into your life just what you are looking for. Last Wednesday the prompt for Wishcasting was "What do you wish to know." I had found myself wondering what I was doing wrong and then right and then wondered what was next. Then I found the Business Goddess Ecourse just released by Goddess Leonie. To say that this is just what I have been looking for is an understatement. This course is freaking awesome. If you don't know anything about Leonie click on the link above or the picture in my sidebar and go discover who she is. One amazing women who has created this awesome community.
Now her business course which I have already told you is awesome sells for a mere 79.00 but if you join her network for 20 more dollars or 99.00 not only do you get the business course but you get all of her courses, meditations, everything she has done. It is an amazing deal. She even does payment plans if you can't afford it all in one step. How perfect.
Now you may ask what is so awesome about the business course. To put it simply she explains how she went from a hobby to a very successful business. You want to increase your followers she tells you how, write an ebook, she tells you how, find a coach, run an affiliate program, start a newsletter and so on. She gives you all the details and links to great sources to help you on your way. I particularly liked the section on avoiding burnout. For me The most valuable section is on marketing and she gives you great ideas. Contrary to popular belief if you build it people don't necessarily come. You do need to learn all about marketing and Leonie makes it fun and easy. I can not recommend it highly enough. I've also listened to some of her meditations, used the yearly planner and the de-cluttering course and they were all really amazing too. Check her out if you are searching for something to spark your creativity, run business or just have some change in your life.

Working with Goddess Leonie's Planner
I've been slowly working through my 2010 Planner from Goddess Leonie. I do a little at a time. I like to let things mull over for awhile plus I think it helps to think thing over a bit before committing it to paper.
When I did my Goddess Habits list I liked it and then after reading it I decided I want to redo it. I can see that # 8 and 9 are real similar so I can combine them and add another. I may change the wording a little on some of them. I like the freedom of being able to print out another page and begin again. I really like this list and I am finding that in the morning I start thinking about what is on that list and try to incorporate them in my life. This morning while cooking breakfast I found myself dancing my heart out to Michael Buble' singing Fever. That sure was fun.

As you can see my Medicine Bag of Tools isn't quite full. As time goes on I think about new things to put here.

Here I have added my word of the year to that page. Don't you just love all the colorful illustrations that you get with this book. I think that is what makes it so much fun. If the idea intrigues you just click on the pic in my sidebar and you can get your very own to play in.

My Word for the year is.....
After a lot of deliberation I have decided on my word for the year.....BLISS. Originally it was going to be something like finish or completion so I could finish a book but there are so many other facets of my life and I didn't think it applied. I have been thinking about this and saying to myself this is not supposed to be hard. When I did my vision board I ended up saying more joy. So I thought I could use the word Joy but that did not resonate with me. So I moved on to Play which led me to Bliss. I want to experience bliss in every aspect of my life, when I am writing or painting or exercising or just walking my dog. I figure if I am feeling bliss full I will not have any problems completing the things that I want to.
If you have chosen a word for the year Christine Kane has a great free guide here. You need to have already picked a word but if you haven't you can save the information for when you do, that is what I did.

For those of you who haven't chosen a word or feel a little stuck about where you want to go I'd like to recommend the 2010 planner and workbook by Goddess Leonie. I have a link on my sidebar and it will take you to her site where you can find more details about it. I will share a little bit about it here.
Its a 40 page workbook that takes you through releasing 2009 and then embracing the new year. I initially wasn't going to get it because I thought oh its just one more thing I would have to do. Then I saw all these glowing reports and really anything that Leonie does is wonderful. Plus I have been having such a hard time coming up with a word and embracing the new year that I thought the guidebook might help.
Of course I was right, first I did the exercises on releasing 2009 I began to relax about it all. Then when I did my morning pages my word came to me. It was just what I needed. I am so looking forward to working with this book more, discovering just what my dreams and goals for 2010 are. Leonie has made it easy with her colorful illustrations and prompts to get you going in the right direction. So what kinds of things are really in the book you might ask. A few examples are: a list of 100 things to do in 2010, What I'd Like to learn in 2010, or release, what gifts I'd like to give myself and so on. I can't recommend it highly enough. The nice part is it is very inexpensive. Go here for details.

Journaling with SARK

I signed up to take this wonderful class with SARK. You can check it out here. I think its going to be a blast. Today is the last day to get a $10.00 discount, so check it out if you are interested. Plus she has the thriving artist program if you are strapped for cash.

I have been de-clutterinng all over the house. Its a big project and will be ongoing for awhile. I have been doing this with Goddess Leonie who has a lovely site and is located in Australia. Its funny to be doing this with help from a land down under. You can check her class out here. At first I thought what do I need a class on decluttering for I know how to do that. When I looked deeper its more than that. She has added spirituality to the mix. So far we have created altars, explored using feng shui and learned to cleanse our homes. I am enjoying the process. My hope is that this time its sticks, that I just don't clutter up the house again.
Right now I am working on my writing desk. I am trying to make it a sacred space, to clear away the unnecessary and to make it a place I want to be. I am not sure what that means yet. I think that all of this change is a process and evolving.
I have also been working on a project for a swap so I can't show it here yet. I also started working on the Etsy shop. It is amazing how much work that takes. I am at that stage where I need to take more photographs before I can move forward. It seems like I have my hands in a many areas but have nothing to show for it yet.
