Brazil - Post Card Challenge

I couldn't find anything that inspired me for this postcard. So I thought oh I will do the Brazilian flag easy, right. Well it proved not to be. I did the flag upside down and then I had to fix it. Then I wrote the words and then they didn't fit, then I had trouble drawing the 27 stars in such a small space, so I painted over it again. Yikes.. I could go on and on but I will not bore you.

Here's a video you will enjoy, yes creativity does take time, this is an great depiction of that idea.

  1. aww you had lots of setbacks but you got there in the end, well done for not giving up. It still looks vibrant and makes it possible for the story to continue.

I agree, some weeks will be harder than others. On those weeks I will do what I can and concentrate on the story.

  9. I concentrated on story this week - not much time to do art - hence the black and white parrot!

  12. yay! for you. I chuckled when you said the flag was upside down and not enough space for the stars. Have so been there. Your flag turned out great and love your story.

Also watched the video of the young people. So fabulous and so true about needing time to create. I often need quiet time just to find myself and begin. Thanks for sharing
