This week I have been working with colored pencils so I figured I would tackle a Sunday Sketch with them. I am liking using the medium more and more. To see what others are sketching check out Sophia's blog, Blue Chair Diary
Kate, I think it's great that you go to a church in which you can do art during the service. I think it would help with focusing, plus it would combine two very spiritual activities. I like how peaceful she looks...Peace, joy, calm, xoO
beautiful. and i love the colored pencils. i may have to give that a try- i have a very hard time keeping things to black and white... I always want to add a watercolor wash. i like how you've used the colored pencils to achieve both a clean sketch and color!
Love the soulful expression in her eyes. And your choice for hair color too!
