Making Foam and Rubber Stamps

Making foam and rubber stamps from Kate Robertson on Vimeo.

I made this video as a little bonus for my students and thought some of you might enjoy it.  Stamp making is very easy so take a look and give it a try yourself.

  4. Kate, thanks for sharing the idea for making stamps out of the foam sheets, as well as using a stencil for the design. I am going to have to give that a try!

  6. Hi Kate...I enjoyed the video...thanks for doing it! You seem so comfortable in front of the camera. I will have to look for the foam with the sticky surface on the back.

  7. This is great Kate. I just have rubber stamps with wooden blocks and had no idea how limiting that could be; this video shows that there is much that can be done with foam stamps and homemade stamps, which I really didn't know about at all. I like that you show exactly how to do it (even if you can't draw well--I didn't know about tracing) and what the products are.
