Just Meditate

This is my latest art journaling page. I started it so I could practice filming myself, but then the memory card filled up. So I don't have a film of it but I did finish the page. This was one of my found art pieces. Just in case you are not familiar with that term, it means I found the image in the background and then just brought it to life. I really like working this way. I think this was my subconscious coming out.  I sure wish I made time for meditation because it really is something I enjoy and reap great benefits from.

Tonight is the Night of Writing Dangerously for my local Nanowrimo group.  Its starts at 8 pm and goes all night.  I am not sure if I will stay up all night but I do hope to get some serious writing done. I am on track with my book but I would like to get ahead so I could take a day off.  Sarah will probably finish tonight.  She is one over the over achievers in the group.

Have a creative Day

  1. You are one busy lady this month, Miss Kate ! Have fun with your other ambitious friends tonight !
    Love the meditation page...

  2. Well, yah. Why not imagine yourself in such a peaceful, heavenly position. I hope you are getting the nourishment you seek in your groups. Meditation practice is a discipline, like so many other things in our lives. But essential!

  3. It can be really difficult to make time to meditate, but it is one of the most effective techniques I've found for opening up my creativity.

    Good luck with NaNoWriMo :).

  4. Healing and something we all should do. Hugs, mary

  5. I love to meditate and it always does me good, but for some reason I can't seem to do it regularly either.
That writing night sounds way cool!!

  6. I'm so late getting here. Love your meditating picture. I try to work meditation into my schedule but I'm not always successful. I know I feel better when I do it.

I hope your writing night was productive for you.
