Today instead of sketching a girl I decided to do a zentangle. I have not done one in a long time, I forgot how long they can take. This one has an sort of an odd shape.
That is until I turn the paper, now I think its a zen- egg. I have no idea why the paper looks green, the paper is white, oh well such is life. To see what other sketchers are doing head over to Sophia's blog
Blue Chair Diary.
love these zentangles, I didn't know they took a long time, but then I shouldn've known, all those fascinating details.
ReplyDeleteGreat zen-egg! And you're right about zentangles taking time....but I look at it as meditating because I usually just drift around in my mind while I'm drawing.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, when I first lookd at I went Ohhhh.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome. I always amazed by you zentangle artists!!! Great! have a nice Monday -xo
ReplyDeleteA perfect zen egg for Spring and Easter!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
wouldn't that be fun to find in your Easter basket - nicely done Kate - like Janet - I never even notice the time element because the 'zens' take me away - to a quiet place.
ReplyDeleteVery cool zectangle. I keep telling my bloggie friend, Julia, that I'm going to attempt one of these someday. Silly me. Yet to do it! haha :) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGreat Zen-egg Kate! LOL! I don't know why when photographing work on white paper it turns out to look green a little bit, it must be the lighting!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week
I am always amazed by zentangles ... I think I need a course in creative doodling! You could do a series of zen eggs for easter!
ReplyDeleteI am reminded of walking a labyrinth - my eye starts at the center and works its way around the egg!
