Looking Through a Window

A view at Coventry Cathedral, in England, or the ruins of to be exact. Another snippet from my trip.  I have always been fascinated by the shape of a cathedral window, so it was great to see so many on my trip. Windows in general truly fascinate me, its that mystery of what the view shows or what's behind the corner that you can't see. Is there any aspect of architecture that fascinates you?  I'd love to hear about it.

  1. Google devours my comments sometimes so I'll try again. Wanted to tell you how great your landscape paintings are coming along. You seem to have a knack for this type of art. And...the little garden is sweet. Peaceful. Would make a good painting too. I have always been fascinated with windows too. Not the architectural aspect, but rather windows at night, lit up through curtains (or not) and might be in the room where the light comes from. I usually picture a warm family scene. Must be some sort of childhood longing, hmmm? xo

  2. I like windows, too...and doors. It must have some deep psychological meaning but I don't know what that is. This cathedral/ruins window is beautiful.
