Wishcasting Wednesday How do you wish to grow older

Jamie asks us today  "How do you wish to grow older" If it had been any other Wednesday I would write a post about living authentically.  Grabbing life by the horns and hanging on for a wild ride. Today my wish is just to be able to grow older.  I just heard the news that my dear glitter sister and blogger friend Ninnie's cancer has spread to her bones and her brain. With this heartbreaking news and having had my own bout with cancer recently.  My wish is to have the privilege to grow older.  Sure I still want that fulfilled life but to be honest I think I am already living it.  I just want to explore it a whole lot longer.

To see what others are wishing today go here

  2. I'm so sorry to hear of your friend's battle and your own experience with that terrible disease. The simpleness of a wish is a powerful thing, may your wish be true for you and others.

  3. So sorry about your friend. Yesterday I learned of a clients sister dying at age 42 of stomach cancer! yes, I too embrace life, have grabbed it by the horns and am racing to fill it to the fullist in the most meaningful of ways to enjoy each day I still have. I am very aware that each morning I wake up I am grateful to be alive and also know I am marking one more day off my calendar of life!
And at my age that becomes even more evident.
I am happy to have today!!!!

  4. Terrible news, I'm sorry to hear of cancer being such a focus in your life right now. I dealt with it a lot a few years back and it certainly changes your perspective.

As Kate wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

As Kate wishes for herself, so do I wish for her as well.

May you grow old and gray, wise and tempered, and filled with love and hope.

  8. As Kate wishes for herself, I wish for her also. And for me, and for as many of us as possible. Living the big juicy full life each day from now until our time is done...
    Hugs to you, Lovely Kate.

  11. I'm sorry for your sad news, Kate. My ex-husband (who I was married to for 15 years) lost his mother and his sister in the past month and I was close to them also. It really changes how your think about things. I too want the gift of growing old. This is so important to remember how blessed we are. Peace, O

  12. Thank you for the authenticity of your post and for sharing yourself so honestly. I love all the wishing and manifestation stuff that I focus on in my life, but like you, I am not disconnected from the fact that life happens in ways that I sometimes don't have control over. I like how you creatively claimed what you do have control over...the quality of life. As you wish for yourself, so I too, wholeheartedly, wish for you also.
